 Where is my Press Release sent?

We use a press wire service which allows us to release to over 40,000 media outlets, including Internet sites such as “Google News.” This means our authors receive maximum exposure through conventional means plus, because we add key search words, we guarantee that your work will pop up in searches by those interested in your subject matter, be it topic, setting or theme.

What about my local paper? They sometimes feature authors.

At the same time, we encourage authors to collect local contacts, be they newspapers or radio or TV stations. You could be a big fish in your local pond and regional media may well be interested. We will release to them also; all pr is good pr and you never know what a small story “here” might lead to “there.”

Who writes my Press Release? Do I get a say?

I am proud to oversee a staff of talented and experienced press writers, all of whom have done this for many years. We know how to craft the release to get the attention of the media, who are inundated by material and
will “eighty-six” anything that doesn’t grab them from the get-go. That said, you are the author and of course we
want your input. You will see every draft and it will not be considered a “final” until you are happy. Though that’s never been a problem…
